Signs at the Abandoned Zoo

Truth and lies. Peace and war. Freedom and conformity. Mass market radicalism.

These themes interlink and overlap, like all issues in this spinning yarn-ball of a planet these days, where global control ascends on the same trajectory as individual awakening, multiplied at scale. The constant factor is media, since that is the space where all discussion is held under the spotlight.

The easy answer is simply to tune out, revert to organic discussions. And when these are realized to be largely opinions derived from the mediasphere, they too can be sidelined in favor of precisely that which the global reach of information seeks to overwhelm: locals hashing out issues face to face; friends sharing stories, complaints and comforts; relationship sailboats checking daily weather; solo journeys of soul discovery.

So we stroll through the abandoned zoo, past the empty elephant room, wondering where all the living creatures went, and trying to decipher the signs left behind…
